- MINIMUM AGE TO OPERATE A JET SKI BY THEMSELF IS 18 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER
- Florida Law requires anyone born after Jan 1st, 1988 MUST HAVE A BOATER SAFETY CERTIFICATE TO OPERATE THE JET SKI. Please obtain your Boater Safety Certificate online visit www.boat-ed.com.
- A temporary Boater Safety Certificate can be obtained at check-in by taking a 25 multiple choice question test in English. There is a fee of $3.00 to take the test per rider (cash or credit card accepted). Guests must check-in 1 hour before departure time to obtain a temporary Boater Safety Certificate. If you fail to pass the Boaters Safety Certificate test at the check in location you will be charged in full amount for the ski('s) held for you and are NON-REFUNDABLE
- If someone born in 1987 or earlier is on the jet ski, the Boaters Safety Certificate is not required
- A brief orientation will be given to all renters
- Must have a basic understanding of the English Language to sign rental agreement and follow tour guide instructions
- All minors 17 years of age and younger MUST have parent present at the time of check in to sign the Jet Ski liability release waiver
- No alcohol can be consumed prior to jet skiing (passenger and driver)
- Please note that a safety lanyard (key) is attached to the Jet Ski driver at all times
- Two guests are allowed per Jet Ski and cannot exceed a total combined weight of 450 lbs (220 kg)
- Renter is responsible for any loss or damage to the jet skis
AGE REGULATIONS:
- Guests 4-9 years of age may only accompany as a passenger to someone who is at least 18 years of age or older. A parent must be present at check-in to sign the Jet Ski liability release waiver. They are NOT ALLOWED to operate the Jet Ski
- Guests 10-17 years of age may operate a Jet Ski as long as a passenger accompanies them who is at least 18 years of age and older. A parent must be present at check-in to sign the Jet Ski liability release waiver.
- Guests 18 years of age and older may operate a Jet Ski by themself. MUST Show Valid Government Issued Photo I.D., Credit Card for security reasons and a Boaters Safety Certificate. Florida Law requires anyone born after Jan 1st, 1988 MUST HAVE A BOATER SAFETY CERTIFICATE TO OPERATE THE JET SKI
GUESTS CANNOT PARTICIPATE IF THEY:
- Possess or are under the influence of drugs or alcohol
- Pregnant
- Have any existing medical conditions that put them or others at risk
- Are 4 years of age and younger
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR GUIDED JET SKI TOURS
All cancellations made 24 hours prior to the scheduled tour departure time will receive a full refund
Cancellations made on the same day or with less than 24-hour notice for tour will be charged in full and are NON-REFUNDABLE
All cancellations made by the tour operator will receive a full refund
Tours booked within 24 hours of the scheduled tour departure time are NON-REFUNDABLE
LATE AND OR NO SHOWS will be charged in full and are NON-REFUNDABLE
